Why Can APCD's Displays Be Sold Worldwide? Let’s Explain It All in This Article
We ship our interactive displays to overseas markets, and all export units are packed in wooden crates. This is because the displays are prone to crushing during LCL (Less than Container Load) shipping, so wooden crating is a must for all exports. What’s more, all our products bound for overseas are large-format displays.
The core component of our large-format displays is the LCD panel. LCD interactive flat panel are graded into four tiers: A, B, C and D, and we only use Grade A original sealed panels—a term we also use to refer to genuine factory-sealed Grade A panels. Original sealed means the panels come in intact, unopened factory cartons with no tampering at all, and our Grade A panels are the undisputed top tier with no quality disputes whatsoever. We use BOE’s N10 panels, whose price is publicly searchable online. In fact, a single LCD panel accounts for 60% of our total production cost.
For the power boards, we equip all our smartboard display across all sizes with Megmeet power boards as standard. We first introduced Megmeet power boards in 2022, and the switch came after a costly lesson we learned earlier. Once, we shipped a 110-inch display to the 18th floor of a building in Shanghai, and it developed a power board fault that caused half the screen to go black. We had to send six workers to carry the display down, which cost over 3,000 RMB, and then another six workers to carry the repaired unit back up— the on-site installation service alone cost 7,000 RMB. That tough lesson led us to switch to Megmeet power boards. Before mass adoption, the power boards underwent rigorous on-off cycling and aging tests, which were jointly conducted by our QC and engineering teams for three months, after which we rolled them out into mass production. Megmeet power boards have delivered exceptional stability, and we have not encountered a single fault with them to date.

We apply the same stringent selection standards to our backlight strips. Before finalizing our supplier, we tested products of different specifications from multiple manufacturers. The backlight strips we now use were first introduced in 2021. They went through three months of comprehensive testing, including repeated on-off cycling and continuous aging tests. These tests proved them to have the most stable performance with zero faults. We even conducted aging tests on three complete display units fitted with these strips, and none of them had any malfunctions. That’s why we selected this supplier, and these backlight strips have remained fault-free to this day.
The key to avoiding quality issues is to take proactive preventive measures. If you walk into a factory and find no electrostatic protection on its production line, that factory is simply unqualified. At our facility, electrostatic protection measures are in place from the start to the end of the entire production line: we use ion fans for static elimination, require all operators to wear anti-static wristbands and gloves, and conduct mandatory electrostatic discharge (ESD) tests and withstand voltage resistance tests. We are able to commit to such strict standards because we have the confidence to manufacture large-format displays—and we know that the after-sales costs for large-format displays are extremely high if faults occur. This is especially true for after-sales services both at home and abroad: if a display malfunctions overseas, we often have to ship a brand-new unit to the customer directly, as there are no local technicians available for on-site repairs.
This is the foundation of our confidence: our uncompromising focus on quality lets us sell our displays to all corners of the world without hesitation.
We also use ultra-thick packaging materials, and this is EPE foam—we equip all our displays across all sizes with this heavy-duty EPE foam as standard. We understand the risks of transportation damage, so we conducted multiple road vibration tests on this EPE foam packaging, with each test covering a round trip of 600 kilometers. The tests confirmed that this EPE foam is the most durable option we have tried, and we have never had a single case of screen breakage caused by the display tipping over during loading and transportation.
